Marks Retailer Transition from Competitive Kiosk to redbox
BELLEVUE, Wash. – June 10, 2009 – Coinstar, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSTR) today announced that it has installed redbox® fully automated DVD rental kiosks in all Albertson’s LLC locations, replacing competitive DVD kiosk equipment. With these latest installations, redbox is now available at 248 Albertsons locations across the country, offering customers the latest movie rentals at an affordable price.

Redbox kiosks were recently installed at the remaining 116 Albertson’s LLC locations in Arizona, Florida, and New Mexico.
Redbox is available at more than 15,000 locations nationwide, including select McDonald’s® restaurants, leading grocery and convenience stores and Wal-Mart and Walgreens stores in select markets. The company has served millions of customers and rented more than 400 million DVDs to date.
